Gear For Your Tent
Tent (and tent pegs of course)
Tarp to line the bottom of the tent to keep it clean and dry
Sleeping Bag (if the night-time temperature is in the 40's, you should bring some blankets too)
Pillows
Camping Mat (e.g. self-inflating or foam) or Inflatable Mattress (e.g. self-inflating with a rechargeable pump)
Ear Plugs (your neighboring tents might have snorers)
Other Camping Gear
Flashlight(s) and/or Lanterns for you and your scout
Camping Chair (foldable kinds you'd take to the beach, except you'll be sitting around a camp fire)
Clothing
Raincoat or Poncho
Hat/Cap (it gets really cold at night, a hat really helps)
Sweatshirt/Jackets (it really gets cold at night, e.g. into 40-50F at times)
Scout's B-Uniform (the yellow t-shirt)
Usual change of clothing (T-shirts, underwear, shorts, pants, socks, etc...)
Your children are likely to get dirty in the great outdoors. Mud, dirt, water are all too tempting. Sometimes, packing extra socks, shoes, and pants can be a very good idea.

Toiletry/Medical
Toothbrush / Toothpaste
Bug spray
Sunscreen
Hand Sanitizer
Medicine you may need (e.g. Tylenol, Benadryl, etc...)
